The Mission of the Project

If you are a follower of Jesus, you join the mission of God!   As followers of Jesus, we seek to not only embrace the life and freedom that we have been so graciously given by a loving God but also to join Him in HIS mission - to make disciples...to build as many “faith communities” of disciples (“where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there in their midst”, Jesus in Matthew 18) as the Holy Spirit leads us to build!  Each community, each relationship would be committed to the disciple-making process, the value of reproduction, as well as provide a relational basis for spiritual development.

Our mission is to build a movement of disciples who disciple...those who participate with Holy Spirit in the transformation process in people’s lives, teach all to faithfully respond to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and to build up people of faith so that each is exercising their giftedness in the context of loving, supportive, and challenging community.

The Kingdom of God is much greater than any one church or any one congregation.  Christ-followers are called to be more committed to seeing the Kingdom extended than they are about individual church growth. Instead of being the biggest church in the area, the desire of this proposal is to church the area. All healthy organisms reproduce. It is in their DNA to look beyond themselves to the next generation or the species dies. Healthy churches strive for multiplication on every level — disciples and churches. As Jesus Himself stated, “Make disciples to the ends of the earth.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
